The Power Control team are charitable bunch and have spent their weekends cooking up the weird and wonderful for our first ever Powerful Bakes bake off to raise money for the incredible British Heart Foundation.

This month’s Powerful Bakes theme was ‘unusual ingredients’ and our team certainty hit the nail on the head. There have been ingredients such as; beetroot, parsnip, avocado, 7-UP, Guinness and green tea.

On the whole the team is a healthy bunch and have introduced ‘podge’ vs dodge’ so not only could you be having one of your five a day from the parsnip or beetroot cake, but also all the healthy fats from the avocado cake.

Power Control’s managing director Martin Hanson commented: “The British Heart foundation is a very special charity to me and this is a great opportunity for the entire team to get involved and be creative whilst raising money for this great cause.”
